Too many people think that their reality is in their circumstances and they allow the circumstances around them become their reality. When you see them, they are weighed down by their circumstances while their mouths are completely shut. If you are ever going to get out of the unpleasant circumstances that you’re in, you should never soak the physical realities in while keeping your mouth shut.
Proverbs 18:20 says, ‘A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth, From the produce of his lips he shall be filled.’ What that means is the fact that your circumstances don’t determine what you get out of life. You determine what you get out of life by what you say or don’t say.
Your reality is not in those physical circumstances that you don’t seem to have any control over. Your true reality is in the weight of the words that are coming out of your mouth. Your words have creative power and can create the circumstances that you want in life. If you keep talking as you should, you will get the reality that you expect to see but if you shut your mouth, you will keep seeing the unexpected reality.
What you must remember is that the real reality is in your mouth and not in your circumstances. Because of this, you must constantly build, direct and eventually create the reality that you want. If you don’t use your mouth, you may not get much out of life and you may not be able to change the reality that you are seeing right now.
Some people make the mistake of confessing the reality because they think they are being honest and being realistic. You should know that when you confess what you see around you, you get more of the unpleasant circumstances. You have control over your life. Stop acting like you don’t have control. The only time you lose control is when you hand the control over to other people or circumstances. Sometimes, you hand the control over deliberately or you unconsciously hand the control over to other people.
Begin to put some order into your life. Don’t let people take the peace that you have or the peace you’re building. You should be able to determine what happens in your life and not allow external circumstances to completely dictate how you live or how to enjoy your life.
Sometimes people don’t understand the power of words over circumstances because they think the words don’t instantly change their circumstances. You need to know that the life you have today was predetermined by the words you spoke or didn’t speak some years back. The things you are seeing in your life today were produced by your words. Therefore, if you want your circumstances in the future to be different from your present circumstances, start speaking the right words now. Start sowing the seeds of words that will change the situation. Start saying what you’re supposed to say in order to get the desired results.
Don’t ever leave your life to circumstances anymore. Your life depends on your words!
