For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yesin Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 1:20 (AMPC)
God has given us very many promises as his children and as we go by on a daily basis, he works in us to fulfil those promises. There is not one, out of the many promises we may have received from God that will not be fulfilled.
It is true that the promises may take some time. We will have to wait and the waiting may not be very easy. In some cases it will even look like the promises of God are about to materialise but they still take some time.
Things may look hard. We may get to some points where it looks like those promises God made to us will never be accomplished. You have to be assured that once God has said it, it does not matter how long it seems to be taking, that promise will come to pass.
Our real good news is what we can see in the text above. It says, ‘for as many as the promises of God are, they find their Yes in Him’ That means through Christ, all the numerous promises of God to us will be fulfilled. It does not matter what the situation looks like right now, so long as God said it, it is bound to receive Amen through Christ.
The text also says we utter Amen to God, through Christ. That simply means, over our lives, it is God that has the final say. Sometimes we may be hoping for certain things and they look too big. People around us may think we are dreaming too big. Some people may say to us that these things are too late. Others may look at us and ask us never to bother ourselves.
In some situations, men will think that what we are hoping for cannot be possible because they are looking at our qualification, age, exposure, wealth and other physical conditions. Well, that is man for you. Any man will always look at the outward appearance while the completed work of Christ is yet to be made manifest. So long as God has said something, it does not matter what the circumstances look like, things will eventually cooperate to bring the promise of God to reality. No man or devil can change that.
We may be asking God to help us over a matter but men may be saying we should consider alternatives. Whatever it is that we are hoping for, we are reminded that it is God, through Christ presenting our case, that says ‘so be it.’ He is the one that says that is what will happen for us and nothing can change it.
Every other person may look at us and may not see any hope for us but Christ says he has already said Amen for us. It means that no matter how impossible the situation seems, once there is an approval from God, that is the end. There is nothing to worry about anymore.
Today, in the mighty name of Jesus, all your requests according to the will of God will receive approval in Jesus name. No man will be able to stop it and you will rejoice in Jesus name.
