Perfection triggered by faith | © Fola Daniel Adelesi

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour – Mathew 9:22.

Faith  action in the direction of expectation – plays an essential role in birthing our desired perfection. When we desire perfection in our lives we must be ready to exercise some level of faith. If we dont show new faith we dont get new results.

The woman that Jesus spoke to in the text above wanted the perfection of her health. Interestingly, she did not sit at home and expect someone who will finally come to heal her. She stepped out  acted on her belief  and went to where Jesus was. She had no time for stories so she just reached out for Jesus and Jesus said, thy faith hath made thee whole. That can also be interpreted as, your faith brought the perfection of your health.

There are several other people that Jesus healed in the Bible but he never said it was his power or even his father that healed them. He mostly told them it was their faith that healed. Lets look at some of the places where he attributed the perfection of miracles to the faith of those who received the miracles:

Mt 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Mr 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague

Mr 10:52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way

Lu 17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Lu 18:42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

Do you know why Jesus placed emphasis on thy faith? It is because in some cases, the power can be available to perfect things that need to be perfected but the faith to receive the perfection may not be there.

All of those people that Jesus healed showed some form of faith. Some of them screamed for attention at the top of their voices when people around told them not to shout. Jesus even tried to discourage a woman by referring to her as a dog but she would not leave until she got what she wanted.

A demonstration of real faith moved Jesus to do something for people. If we want our own perfection in this month of perfection in any area of our lives, it will be very important for us to also demonstrate real faith that can provoke our desired perfection.

You have to move from expectations to actions. If you need to make a phone call, please do. If you need to send a letter or an email, dont hesitate to do it. If what you have to do is to go and see someone, book an appointment and make that move. If you need to change your confession so that you speak forth those things that be not as though they were, do it so that your confessions will begin to match your reality.

God is obviously moved by praise and as we have seen in some of those verses above, our faith can move him too. As you take that bold step of faith from now on, God will perfect everything that concerns you.
