Don’t Improvise Life

 

 

You can make a good actor if you have good improvisational skills but it’s just okay to keep improvising within the confines of acting a movie or a play. If you must display your skills of improvisation I do not think that such skills ought to be tried upon your life.

 

I have found many people who try to improvise their lives but any improvised life cannot be beautiful. You can guess what ought to fit in when you are acting a play and you forget the lines but you should not be guessing what ought to be done when it has to do with your life. You must know the right thing to be done.

 

Your life has a script to be acted out and that is the script you must follow. The discovery of purpose is simply the location of the script that we were all meant to act but you must also be mindful of the director of the script. Just like some people go to schools to learn how to act, you must have a personal coach who teaches you how to act in life. You don’t just get on the stage of life and do anything. You don’t just pick any costume for the drama of life. There is a character that you were meant to act. There is an appropriate costume for that drama.

 

Success in life is all about getting the original script of your life. Stop acting the scripts of other people’s lives. Don’t be another man. You are too good to look like somebody else. Somebody is waiting to admire you while you are spending too much time admiring another person.

 

If you always watch people dance, who will watch you dance? If you always listen to people talking, who will listen to you? If you simply use what others create, what will you create for others to use. You are more important than you think you are only when you realize that you are not supposed to be acting the script of another man’s life.

 

Please remember that life is too complex to be improvised. It must be planned. It must be acted according to the endorsed plan. You will be overwhelmed by the ovation waiting for you if only you act the script and not improvise life. Don’t improvise life.

TIME TWISTING THOUGHTS

‘If I could turn back

The hands of time,’

So says man

When I wish he knew

That I waited

For his travails to corrode

On iron of impatience.

‘The time is so slow,’

So says man

When I wish he knew

That I waited

To align with his predestination

‘Time is not on my side,’

So says man

When I wish he knew

That I waited

For his understanding

To fit into life’s puzzle.

‘Time is not enough,’

So says man

When I wish he knew

His strong will

Was not enough.

‘I still have time,’

So says man

When I wish he knew

That I would be gone

In no time

And leave him with no time.

‘How time flies,’

So says man

When I wish he knew

I move when he moves

But don’t stop ticking

When he stops moving.

Posterity is my defense counsel

For this suit which

Defames my character.

HOPE BECKONS

Like never before

The springs will flow

Fruitfulness will be our true colour

Men of double character

Will be strange in our eyes.

Anomalies will cease

In our plethora of expectations.

Traffic would be beauty to behold.

Hunger would be, but for

Men without mouth.

Hope beckons on Nigeria

For days too beautiful

For the word, ‘beauty,’ to describe

Our streets would be too real

For the streets you know now

And the streets to come.

It’s a new Nigeria

That will explain the

Beauty of heavens,

Not even to the fullest.

No news will go on air

Without the name Nigeria.

Heroes will spring up

Like flowers in autumn.

Loyalty of a dog

Would be found in men.

Serving spirits of camels

Will posses men.

Now it’s a baby eagle

But in maturity

It’s exploits will dazzle

For nations to behold.

It’s lamentations now

Would be confined

To history books

Intimidating paraphernelia in

In government will vanish

Elevator will open

For churches that

Don’t preach for money

Hatred would be scarce

Love would become culture

Password for our treasury

Will paint begging as crime.

We shall lend to nations

As our scriptural promise

As good folks comment

‘Our background will not

Permanently put our back

To the ground.’

Crops will yield

Beyond plans

You would be a Judas

Not to uphold our flag.

Green White Green will wave

Upon every home

With strength of horses

Men will fight for this nation

Then will labours

Of heroes past

Come to fruition

‘Cos God of creation

Navigates our noble cause.

Blood Pressure or Business Perception

Which of the BPs above would you like to be known for? Which of the BPs would you want in your body? Which of the BPs would you recommend?

I guess it’s the second one! If my guess is right the you had better start working on your business perception. I realized so many so many “SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSES” do not eventually succeed. Why did I say this? They have the potential and the werewithal. They have the physical energy and the business location but they often do not REFINE the MENTAL ENERGY needed to make the business a success.

Much more than the physical energy that you have, your endeavours succeed, largely, to the extent of your mental energy. You must not just think. You must THINK RIGHT. A lot of people are thinking. You thought about working on your computers. You thought about what to wear. You thought about what to eat. You thought about viewing a programme. You thought about replying some mails. That is not the ultimate. The issues is that you must THINK RIGHT because you may be thiking about starting a business but the business would die sooner than expected or give you BLOOD PRESSURE.

What you need is BUSINESS PERCEPTION and not BLOOD PRESSURE to get your business going. GO GET IT from consultants, books, tapes, CDs, DVDs and any other material that kills your tendency to have High Blood Pressure.

For God’s acceptability.

The falsity

In your mentality

Advocates poverty

And you call it morality.

You are thinking conformity

And you appear a nonentity

But to you it’s personality.
