HOW YOU WASTE ONE DAY EVERY WEEK

June 15, 2007

You and I know that more than a thousand and one articles must have been written about time even before we were borne but I have to write about it again because I got a new perspective of this thing called time.

My new perspective begins with a different definition of time. So if you ask me I would say my definition of time is “an embodiment of destiny unfolding in stages.” If time is an embodiment of destiny unfolding in stages it there implies that the wasting of time amounts to the wasting of destiny.

I imagined a situation were a drop of water comes down at the speed of a second into a 60 liter bowl. Imagine what the drops of water would have amounted to in a minute, in a hour and in 24 hours. If it is not considered in progression you would never appreciate the value of each drop coming down. Just like a drop of water is not appreciated until it’s progression is measured, a minute wasted often seems meaningless or recoverable until you realize that you have wasted too much time.

Every individual who is on the way to success is propelled by a strong sense of purpose to attach a sense of urgency to whatever ought to be done.

Work like it’s your last time to work. Sing like it’s your last time to sing. Act like it’s your last time to act. Talk like it’s your last time to talk. Give like it’s your last time to give. Pray like it’s your last time to pray. Push your ideas like it’s the last time to push an idea.

Time is a seed invested in the public offer of a bank called Future Bank of Destiny Incorporated. Your investment is capable of yielding dividends (rewards) in a hundred fold per day! A did a simple calculation that can help you. In a whole day you have 1440 minutes (60 minutes x 24 hours). Ten percent of the time in a day would be 140 minutes (1440 / 10). If you waste 10 minutes in every hour, you would have wasted 240 minutes per day. This is more than ten percent of the day. That means you need just six days to waste 24 hours (the equivalent of one day). By implication, more than half the people in the world would have wasted a whole day by the sixth day of every week!

Your Dreams

June 8, 2007

Whenever I overcome the challenges ahead of me I discover new opportunities. The discovery makes me realize that there’s a bigger version of my dream. There’s obviously a bigger version of your dream as well
